Yes folks – this post will be devoid of any intentional innuendo driven by the headline acts moniker.
Last night a band from Glasgow, albeit with Highland connections in the bass player, came and played up in Mad Hatters. They are called Casual Sex. They played their new single, ended on their first single and played lots of other songs that they have played before. (the 24 minute cover of Lynyrd Skynyrds Freebird may have been overkill but it was otherwise a fantastic wee show). Local band Bite Night ably supported but the audience was sparse for both bands. Well done to Netsounds and Mad Hatters for putting on the gig and thanks for having me (oooh slight oooer).
Fucking hell that was bastard hard work !! You cant NOT do it with a name like that. Casual Sex was sweaty and lipstick-free last night. Thankfully they didn’t leave any bad tastes in one’s mouth but, hey, they never have with me. Oh, and there were no free birds either, that was a lie. Pushed the boat out last night and took two Nikons along – been a while. Busted out the D40 – it’s a wee grafter with a 50 on it – and the usual D7100 and Sigma 28 – 105. Shot jpegs and RAWS again – aye, still experimenting, still fighting the LEDs. Here be some of the resulting results. Theyre awrite I spose………more over HERE
And now for some rampant visuals of casual sex…………
