Fort William born Russian Ninjas released their new video for the forthcoming single, ‘We Are Anonymous’ earlier this week. That’s it up there (hopefully – I’m on my phone so this may end up going tits up).
The singles available for free download from the 12th of March on Bandcamp. If you are already a fan of Winter Tradition, Campfires in Winter, [insert really good Scottish indie rock bands name here] and their ilk then Russian Ninjas will sit nicely with you. In the kitchen. Possibly. Or maybe just in your music collection wot you have collected. Music. Sorry but I AM shit at this – go listen, view, smear it on yourself, make up your own mind who they sound like. Who cares? It’s not important to me in the slightest. I just know what I like. This is one of those liked thangs.
I had the good fortune of seeing these guys at the very start of their careers and loved them then. Not THAT way, the music. And there’s the Fort connection – many many mental weekends of music and other stuff were had at the fit o the Coo Hill and Caol. Good to see them mature and blossom with a blossoming matureness that both blossoms and matures. (wtf?)
The single is being followed up by a Scottish tour including a headline show at Broadcast, Glasgow on Friday the 2nd of May, information on shows and tickets will be announced shortly. Hopefully see them up here or a home leg at Fort Bill.
The single was recorded and produced by Paul McInally at 45 A-Side Records, filmed and edited by Keep The Change Productions, photography and transport from Steve Bull Productions
Now then, apologies for lack of links etc but I’m nonbloggin from the bloody phone so think yerself lucky I’m managing this. Head over to their Faecesboke and I’m sure you’ll find all you require there. Link above
