I’ve been thinking over the last day or two that there will be many, many reviews of goNORTH out there – many may be eloquent and to the point, others may be rambling, badly punctuated and just downright shite. Who can tell, we just can’t say for sure. I’m thinking I’m going to try to not fall into either of those categories so I will keep the words to a minimum and merely show you some pictures. After all that’s what I’m reasonably good at – being in the right place or at least a good place at the right time and pressing the button. This first set of goNORTH images will showcase that fact I hope.
The ‘good place’ to be last week if you wanted to spend the afternoon with some amazing and exclusive acoustic sessions was the Ironworks here in sunny Inverness. Here are some of the results from my running around a big empty concert hall in the dark. Thanks to all the team involved for allowing me access to annoy and to all the acts for letting me go daft and talk shit between taking photos !! Top swag goNORTH, Ironworks and Netsounds !! Cheers ! As the title suggests, it was rather a nice day but worth missing the sun to see the wonderful music that was happening in there. Scotland is a good place to listen to right now !
