A weekend spent dealing with the rumour mill would normally be a nightmare for most folk but NO !! Not this weekend and not this Rumour Mill. It’s the title of Duncan Overmeers debut album. Its a bloody marvellous piece of music and myself and Kris Whisky were present for a wee acoustic preview on Saturday and the full band behemoth on Sunday. Both events showcased Duncans undoubted talents very well indeed. The album features the full band – Saturdays acoustic set at the wonderful Tea Posy gave us all different versions of the album stuff with it being just Duncan, his guitar and pedals whereas Sundays full band line-up treated us to the album tracks in all their glory but also some Matchstick Maker and the added bonus of some early, acoustic Overmeer being given a 6 piece, rocked up feel. Sounded great in Hootananny. (Well done Bruce.) Most satisfying indeed !! Almost as luffly as the Wimpy meal we had in Dingwall – another story for another time………

Brilliant end to the gig where Duncan looped the members of the band one by one using a mic so that they could leave the stage YET STILL PLAY !!
Witchcraft I tell you !! Fucking clever – I love technology, me !!
